Since April 2016 it is possible to cross a pond via a footpath of 212 meters long and 3 meters wide with water at eye level.
On April 11, 2018 this attraction received a renowned award: the World Landscape Architecture Award.
In August 2018, the American weekly Time Magazine named “Walking through water” in Bokrijk as one of the top 100 must-see places worldwide.
