What is the E.G.T.C. Euregio Meuse-Rhine?

The European structure and that of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine is constantly evolving. To meet today’s political and practical challenges is decided in March 2017 to adapt the structure of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine.

The choice quickly fell on the legal form of the E.G.T.C. (= European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation) defined at European level: to facilitate cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation between member states or their regional and local authorities. E.G.T.C.’s enable these partners to implement joint projects, share expertise and improve coordination of spatial planning.
