Chaudfontaine is a town on the river Vesder in the province of Liège, Belgium and has almost 21,000 inhabitants. The place has given its name to the spring water brand owned by Coca-Cola since 2003. Chaudfontaine has the only hot spring in the Benelux (37 degrees). This makes it officially a spa. Chaudfontaine did not make it in the name and fame of his more famous brother Spa from the spa of the same name.

Some highlights:
The spring with a water temperature of almost 37° put Chaudfontaine on the map of spa tourism. For centuries the only hot spring in Belgium, but until at the end of the 17th century nothing was done with it. The relatively high temperature reaches the surface after a journey of about 60 years infiltration to a depth of 1600 meters, where the temperature rises to 55°. From that depth it is pushed up again to see the daylight in Chaudfontaine and meanwhile enriched with all kinds of minerals.
